Welcome to St. Ignatius Catholic School! The first Catholic school to be built in Idaho's beautiful Treasure Valley in over 50 years. Recent Events- 2016 Chili Champ!!

Congratulations to Jenny Chatterton (Contestant #35)! She was voted to the 2016 Chili Champion with her Spicy Pork Chili! Thanks to all the volunteers, the 6PM music group, and everyone who participated! It was such a fun night! A special shout out to Hillary Smith, Amanda Kuznia, Lindsey Rice, and JoAnn Shaul for being the master planners behind all of the St. Ignatius events we've been having!! 

Spicy Pork Chili

  • 1-2 lb shredded pork
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup white rice
  • 1 pack of taco seasoning
  • 4 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilis
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can ranch beans
  • 1 can cannellini beans
  • 3 cups water (maybe more)
  • 1 handful chopped cilantro

Saute' the onions, then add the shredded pork and taco seasoning. Drain and rinse the beans. Add the beans, bouillon, rice, water, and tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add cilantro before serving.
